Microsoft Team is free for an unlimited audience. You can use it with any Microsoft account. I use it with my gmail account. It can only be used with Edge or Chrome. It cannot be used with Safari on an Apple device. You cannot record your meeting in the free version. You may wish to check to see if your school or organization has an account for Microsoft, so you can record your session.
Microsoft Teams is a free Moodle plugin that can be added to an Atto editor. Open the editor to access Microsoft Teams.
You can now start a live online meeting, create a meeting link to share with others, and give a the class directly from a discussion forum in a Moodle course using Microsoft Teams. In fact, you can using your gmail account on the Moodle, but create the class with a Microsoft account.
Both teachers and students can create the live online class. The Microsoft Teams meeting is a plugin you can add to your Moodle site.
