    ZOOM offers free live virtual online meetings for 40 minutes for up to 100 participants. In this section, participants will give a live online class to each other, share the recordings, and reflect on the Padlet wall. In addition, they will create 3 video tutorials and add the videos to the discussion forum below. 
    How to upload a ZOOM recording to YouTube 

    Instructions of the week:
    1. Participants will get a free account on ZOOM
    2. They will create 3 video tutorials using Screencast-o-matic. 
    3. The video tutorials: 
        • will demonstrate how to schedule the ZOOM meeting.
        • highlight the features that ZOOM has.
        • demonstrate how to use each of the features available in your ZOOM meeting. 
    4. Participants will create a PowerPoint presentation on a topic they would like to present to their students, a lesson, or demonstrate a tool. 
    5. Schedule a meeting on ZOOM.
    6. Share the "join" link of their session with the other members of this course or on social networks.
    7. Give the class. 
    8. Get an account on Padlet.
    9. Remake the course Padlet wall.
    10. Share the link of the remake of their Padlet wall.
    11. Add the recordings of their ZOOM meeting to the remake of the Padlet wall.
    12. Reflect on the process of scheduling and giving the ZOOM meeting on their Padlet wall under their video recording.
    13. Share the link to your Padlet wall in this discussion forum.
    14. Remember to respond to one other discussion thread.

      Use this forum to discuss your strategies on how to set up and present on ZOOM.

      Do not submit any videos here as they will not be graded. 

      Follow these Instructions:
      1. Decide on a team topic or have individual topics.
      2. Each member of the team will create a PowerPoint presentation related to the topic if you choose a team topic. If not, you can all present  on a topic of your choice. The  duration of the presentation should not exceed 2 minutes. 
      3. Decide on a suitable time for everyone. The duration of the meeting should not  exceed 40 minutes. Make sure you have a free account for at least 40 minutes. 
      4. One person will schedule a live online event on ZOOM.
      5. Make everyone a co-host at the beginning of the event. 
      6. Each one will record the live event on their computer system.
      7. You will each give your 2 minute presentation using the screen sharing feature. 
      8. When you finish, save your recording and upload it to Youtube or Vimeo. 
      9. Share the link of your session in this discussion forum.
    • Share your Video Tutorials (ZOOM) for a Grade Forum

      Create 3 video tutorials or create one that combines the 3 elements listed below  using Screencast-o-matic. Remember to reply to one other participant. 

      The video tutorials will:

      • demonstrate how to schedule the ZOOM meeting. 
      • highlight the features that ZOOM has.
      • demonstrate how to use each of the features available in your ZOOM meeting. 

      Add all 3 videos to one (start a new discussion topic) discussion for a grade. 


    • ZOOM Team Meetings and Individual Recordings (Graded Task) Please only add your videos and nothing else. Forum
      Each member of the team will share the recordings of his or her part of the team ZOOM recording. This is a grade task. If you do not see a grade, use the support forum in this section to ask questions. 
      Instructions
      1. One member of the team schedules a class and invites the team.
      2. Before the class begins, the lead team member with the role of a host, makes the other team members co-hosts (not host) of the ZOOM meeting.
      3. Each member presents a talk of 2 minutes and records the talk. 
      4. Each member publishes the MP4 on Youtube or Vimeo. 
      5. Share the link of your YouTube video recording here. 
      6. Remember to embed the YouTube link properly so we can click on your video to watch directly from your post.
      7. Reply to one other person's post.
