If you feel you could improve the way you communicate and present your ideas, you cannot miss this EVO21 session, where you will learn how to make effective presentations.
Educators & other professionals presenting ideas and projects at seminars, webinars, lectures, business conferences and meetings at large.
Participants will be able to make effective and persuasive presentations for different purposes.
Week 1: Introduction (January 11 - 17)
Communication elements: message, voice, body language
Week 2: Planning (January 18 - 24)
Planning: a good idea, an engaging start, a gift to the audience.
Structure: organize, sequence and structure your presentation
Storytelling: use storytelling techniques and principles to develop and deliver your presentation
Week 3: Design (January 25 - 31)
Introduction to design elements: colour, alignment, whitespace, fonts
Following graphic design rules to enhance the look of presentation visuals
Data visualization: use of charts, tables, infographics and other techniques to display quantitative information visually
Week 4: Delivery (February 1 - 7)
Delivering your presentation, taking into account the following different elements:
Articulation, voice, pitch, stress, intonation, facial expressions, gestures, posture, physical appearance, eye contact, paralanguage, proximity, etc.
Fear: managing the fear of speaking in public
Key elements of storytelling: SHARE (SHowing, Authenticity, Reliving, Engaging)
Week 5: Take-aways (February 8 - 14)
Showcasing and reflecting
