I could not believe the body scan lasted five full minutes! It felt so short and I did not want to go back to the room- I wanted to perform a second body scan, focusing on each body part for longer. Today I found it easier to focus and not stray away thinking about my daily tasks. Am I getting more experienced at controlling my brain?
I was very interested to learn about the beneficial nature of yawning and I will stop feeling guilty about my irresistible urge to yawn after mindfulness practice.
I look forward to the next session. Practising mindfulness collectively feels more satisfying and easier.
