Teaching Unplugged and Plugging It In

The webinar will consider the teaching unplugged method and ways of actualizing it within the online environment through 1-2-1 and group sessions. EFL and ESL teachers will get some useful practical cases on how to build more learner-centered, materials light and engaging lessons. It will show that once you are set with suitable information and technological tools, you will be able to have lessons anytime with anyone without worrying about materials.

Will be also of particular interest to everyone who is willing to shift from face-to-face teaching to tutoring on the World Wide.

Zoriana Diak is an EFL teacher and has been working within the field for the past 10 years. She started her career during studying at Kyiv National Linguistic University where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Germanic Languages, Foreign Literature and Teaching. Having started with a general English course for teenagers and adults she then expanded her scope to exam preparation, ESP, Business English and teacher training. For the past 4 years she has also been a member of IATEFL, taken up several teaching courses including TKT and Learning Technologies by British Council. The latter has become her abiding passion since and currently she is teaching English through blended learning in an international language school, gives one-to-one online lessons and writes studying materials for popular teaching websites.
